Hey all,

So, my V3 3500 seems to have some convergence issue, but I can only really see it in the Windows desktop. It runs Quake 2 fine and OpenGL works great, but the Windows desktop just looks plagued with ghosting. Not sure if this is a hardware issue or a driver issue, but I'm formatting the HDD and doing a clean install of everything just in case. Any ideas of what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Thanks.

What resolution are you running on the desktop and games? Also, since it's a 3500, are you using the original purple adapter cable or are you using a third party adapter?

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

Using the Monoprice adapter that just outputs VGA. Running desktop at 1280x1024 and games at around 1024x768. Not really noticeable in games.

My GeForce256 displays 1280x1024 just fine, but it's not going through an adapter.
