I'm setting up my Windows 98SE system and looking for a joystick. I've seen two references to the Thrustmaster Y.16000 (no M) on the internet. One was posted by PhilsComputerLab on this forum:

Just go with Windows 98?

I use a Thrustmaster T.16000 and it works great

Is there a Thrustmaster T.16000 (without M)?

I've looked for drivers for the Thrustmaster T.16000 and Thrustmaster T.16000M for Windows 98 with no luck. Are there drivers for either/both?

Thanks.

I've got a T.16000M and just plugged it into my Win98SE rig, it gets detected flawlessly without any drivers. It gets detected correctly as a T.16000M and wanted drivers from the windows CD. All axes and all 16 buttons work in control panel -> game options.
My other joystick, a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, gets detected without any drivers too, so I guess Win98SE is quite generous regarding USB joysticks.

I also tested it in a game, everything seems to work too in Crimson Skies, so you should be fine with the T.16000M.
