Hi,

Anyone know if it's possible to solder a PS/2 connector to a 468-GVT-2 motherboard? It seems to have the solder points ready but I can't see that the BIOS mentions PS/2 mouse anywhere.
I haven't been able to get a serial mouse yet and this might be an easier (and more fun) solution

Thanks

You can go ahead and try. I'm just guessing, but CN4 could be a PS2 header, and two inductors from the L3...L6 series could be for PS2 clock and data lines. And there's feipoa's excellent thread on adding PS2 mouse support (to a Chaintech 486SPM, but interesting read nevertheless).

I'll give it a try. But I find it strange that PS/2 mouse in not mentioned in the BIOS. I can however find this text on the motherboard:
