Main desktop :
* Portwell RUBY-9719VG2AR
* C2D E8600 (3.33GHz, 6MB)
* 4GB DDR2-800
* Radeon X550 256MB (passively cooled)
* 2x Yamaha DS2416+AX44, Yamaha SW1000XG, ESI Juli@, T-04YBSC-A
* 32GB SSD with WinME and XPpro

Main laptop :
* Thinkpad X200t
* 1.86GHz C2D
* 8GB DDR3-10600
* 1280x800 screen with Wacom pen input
* 64GB SSD with XPpro and Win7

Server (on 24/7) :
* AMD Athlon64 3000+ (underclocked and undervolted)
* 2GB DDR1-400
* 1TB SIL3x12 based RAID1 with WinME
* Pro1000CT NIC

I am looking for a Thinkpad X61t with 1400x1050 screen to replace it, most machines seem to come with a 1024x768 screen and tablet version's 1400x1050 screen is kind of impossible to get at decent cost for retrofit.

It's some refurbished Dell business desktop. An i5 with ~3.0 GHz and a GeForce GT 720, which is quite underpowered. I don't use this machine for anything but internet and maybe some late 2000's gaming.

Mac Pro and iPad.

IPad, MacBook Pro and HP 6300’s are my everyday computers.
When I need power I use the 12-core beast’s.

I have two (well three) daily driver, one is my deskop (very similar to Murugans)

Xeon X5650 @3,6 GHz
Asus Sabertooth X58
12 GB RAM 6x2
Sapphire Vega 56
Asus Xonar D2x
1 tb Samsung 850 evo and 4 tb on spinning rust
Windows 10
in a Lian Li PC7 Plus
hooked up to 3 moniors (two 1080p ones,a Dell and an Eizo and one good old 5:4 NEC)
IBM Model M ofc ^^

A Thinkpad E485
Ryzen 2500u
12 GB ram
2 ssds one for standard windows, one for linux (manjaro atm)

Well I also use my HTPC everyday
Xeon X3220 (thats a G0 Q6600)
Asus Maximus Extreme
4 GB RAM
Nvidia GT 220 with a massive passiv heatsink
some 120 GB Crucial SSD
all in a modded PowerMac G5 case 😀

Will use all of this until it falls apart or becomes unbearable slow. The Thinkpad only recently replaced my heavily upgraded 2005 Pentium M 780 Laptop (this was a over 5 kilo heavy monster with a 17inch 1920x1200 panel, still love it to death and would prefer it over my current Thinkpad, but its somewhat broken. The keyboard partially doesnt work and I don't know why, it freezes on Linux, Windows 7 is too slow for real use)

custom built: core i5 4670k
motherboard: msi z87-gd65
ram:16 gb ddr3
gpu: gigabite aorus gtx 1070 ti
too many hard drives to list
monitor:hp zr2740w 2560x1440
soundcard: soundblaster z

I plan on replacing it with a ryzen 5/7 build (havent decided yet). I do plan on keeping the gpu the rtx series is a bit too expensive for my taste plus, I just bought that 1070 ti

I also have a dell latitude 5590 for college runs virtualbox better then my own desktop (hence the upgrade)

Forgot to add my main HTPC, which I use everyday -

Gigabyte GA-P31-ES3G, Socket 775 Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3GHz
2GB PC2-6400 DDR2 RAM
32GB SATA SSD
500GB SATA HDD
Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 2GB PCIe Graphics
Onboard Sound (not used)
Onboard Ethernet
KWorld PlusTV Hybrid PCI Analogue/DVB-T/FM Radio Tuner Card (only DVB-T Tuner in use)
Microsoft USB eHome IR Remote Receiver
1x HD DVD Drive
1x DVD-Rom Drive
1x USB External Blu-Ray Drive
1x USB External SATA HDD Dock
1x USB External Multi-Card Reader

Primary OS: Windows 10 Pro x64
Secondary OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

Built back in 2008, designed for 1080p HD playback initially. I bought the GeForce GT 1030 card for it about a month ago, to drag this old beast into the 4K Ultra HD age.

Primary OS is Windows 10 as above, but I have to keep Windows 7 around for HD DVD playback as the old TotalMedia Theatre just will not work correctly in x64 versions of Windows 8 & above and the 32-bit versions of Windows 10 are unstable on this system with the Nvidia graphics drivers. Not too bad though, I can switch between both OS from within Kodi, using my remote control. No need to get out of my chair. 🤣

The only other main systems that I use/run daily are a Win 8.1 x64 Media Server also used as a HTPC (Sempron 150 unlocked to Athlon II X2 4450E, 8GB RAM, 12TB storage) & a Web Server running Ubuntu (Athlon 64 X2 6400+, 4GB RAM).

Advanced video editing rig:
- Dell Inspiron 660 case
- EVGA 430W power supply
- ASUS H110M/A-M.2 MicroATX motherboard
- Intel Core i3-6100 3.7 GHz LGA1151 CPU (will upgrade to an i5 at some point)
- 8GB Crucial DDR4-2133 SDRAM
- nVidia Geforce GTX 970 3.5GB PCI-e graphics card (hand me down from my father when he upgraded his gaming PC)
- Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 250GB solid state drive (drive C:\ - used for the OS)
- Western Digital Blue 1TB 7200RPM 3.5" SATA hard drive (drive D:\ - used for data)
- ASUS 24x SATA DVD-RW drive (drive E:\)
- Sony 16x SATA DVD-RW drive (drive F:\ - This is a spare drive that I found at a thrift store)
- Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Main desktop:
- Dell Optiplex 7010 SFF
- Dell 250W? power supply
- Intel Core i3-3220 3.3 GHz LGA1155 CPU
- 8GB DDR3-1600 SDRAM
- Intel HD 2500 1GB GPU
- Kingston 120GB 2.5" SATA solid state drive (drive C:\ - used for the OS)
- Seagate 500GB 5400RPM 2.5" SATA hard drive (drive D:\ - used for data)
- TSSTcorp 16x SATA DVD-RW drive (drive E:\)
- Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

The reason why I don't use the video editing rig as my main is that I can't stand using Windows 10 as my primary OS for various reasons (the nagging I get for not using Edge, integration with Microsoft services, just to name a couple reasons), even though the Skylake CPUs support older Windows versions, I plan on upgrading its CPU to a Kaby Lake Core i5 which only supports Windows 10.

Hehe I just repurposed my 2600K as a NAS/light gaming rig see pictures with the case with holes in the retro activities thread. I paired it with a miniATX motherboard, and a GTX750Ti card. Will mostly be used for minecraft by my kid.

Man so many powerful pc. Anyone brave to choose older tech as main one? 😁
Actually am using:

Pentium4 3,4/1MB/800 Socket 478 (arrived today 😎 )
Asrock P4i65G
2x1GB Corsair Value CL3 Dual Channel
AMD Radeon HD 3450 512MB DDR2 AGP
Oxygen HD CM8788
Promise Fastrack 2300 SATA2 PCI
Kingston SSD
Linux

all powered by an heavy Enermax EG375AX-P24 that seems to not even feel the requirements of the Prescott. 😁
I don't know how much I'll use this but it's the only main built machine right now.

Nothing overly fancy, my daily driver is just a Lenovo Ideapad P400 from 2013. i7-3632QM, 8GB RAM, 250GB SSD (replaced the factory-original 1TB spinning rust, don't NEED that much space since I offload everything onto a NAS), DVD burner, 14in 1600x900 screen, Windows 10. A clearance model from Best Buy I was forced to purchase in a hurry because I NEEDED a new computer, as my previous one had died suddenly.

Well this has been my rig June 2013 except for Video card updgrades:

Case: Corsair 800D (Modified : Removed HDD hot plug backplane)
PSU: Corsair AX850 Gold
MB: ASUS Z87-Deluxe
CPU: Intel 4770k Generally run @ Stock, but I have a stable 4.4Ghz on all cores profile when desired. W/ Thermalright SilverArrow SB-E CPU Cooler.
GPU: GTX 690, GTX 1080 (Sold for nearly full price during mining craze), GTX 1080ti, RTX 2080ti
Mem: 2X Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A2133C10 8GB, 16GB DDR3 2133Mhz
Stor: Current Config - Toshiba 4TB, Samsung 840, Samsung 840EVO, HL-DT-ST BD-RE BH12LS35 Bluray Rewriter
Ext: USB 3.5" 1.44MB Floppy, Corsair K95 RBG Platinum (Was CM Storm Quickfire Rapid), Deathadder Chroma (Was Deathadder 2013)

I'm going to pick up a new case this weekend and transfer the MB, CPU, RAM and make room for my new baby for which I'm just waiting on my i9 9900k which hopefully will be here this weekend. I think 5 years is a pretty good run for this machine but most of that is how stagnant innovation has been. I could get by with this machine just fine but girlfriends machine is dying so I thought it was a good time to do something for me too =).

Anyways, here's a sneak peek at my future.

The RAM is 4133Mhz, and this will be my first M2 drive as well as my 1st liquid AIO, maybe next time I go for the full monty and build my own custom loop.
