Hello Guys,

I'd like to use Windows 95 with my Pentium Pro machine with Intel Pr440FX motherboard. The Windows 95 installation process goes through without an error, but at first start, it won't go further than the Windows 95 logo. I did few reinstalls, but the same problems occours. Sometimes I can enter into safe mod, other times it asks windows reinstall.

Checking bootlog it hangs up at aic78xx.mpd

Checking internet I did found bad memory can cause such a problem. I did changed the EDO-RAMs for different modules, but the problem is still exist.

Than I installed Windows 98SE and the same problem occours again. What can it be the fix for aic78xx.mpd ?

Checking Windows/System folder aic78xx.mpd not even exist there...
