Hello all,
I just received my Roland SC-55 MKII, and I have combined it with my SB AWE64 Gold. Is it normal that under Win98SE the SC-55 isn't 'enabled'? (I can hear the music, but the spectrum bars on the unit's LCD do not light up)

However under Win98SE pure MS-DOS mode, the unit is alive and well.

Most games that I have tested (Doom95, Doom Collector's Edition, Strike Commander CD, Lands of the Lore CD, etc.), when I select the General MIDI or Sound Canvas i their setup section, have no effect on SC-55, but when I run these games under DOS, the unit is enabled.

Is this normal?
