I just traded away one of mine so I am looking into replacing it; I have a fee options here: LGS Prime, GoldStar, Holtek, Winbond chipsets. Is there a practical difference between any of these 16 bit Multi-Io chipsets in terms of speed and compatibility?

I never found any difference other than having jumper settings available or not - some cards do have weird jumper blocks that are really hard to decypher without documentation.

GoldStar chips have 8250 UART and not 16550 like Winbond ones. That's all the difference I know of for the time being.
