Hi there, I have three of these AST "daughterboards" with a CPU on them. I also have the motherboard for them, but that's not my issue ... At a first glance, it looks like FPM memory would work with them, but after doing this

there's no way it would fit !! I've never seen RAM like this before, what could it be ?

Proprietary AST system DRAM.

All the OEM's at the time made their mark with this type of lame shinanigigans.

That slot should hopefully be ok still to use.... just have to find AST RAM to put in there.

It's a CPU card for an old CUPID bus AST system. They used 64-pin CUPID RAM, probably before 72-pin RAM became common.
This card also contains a cache controller and a small amount of cache.
