I'll correct that to first ever working Socket 7 PC 😜
Sadly that board didn't work after I brushed it off with a camera lense brush. I spent all weekend trying to get it to work again but no joy, it wouldn't power on at all. I even got a new CPU for it but no joy. I kept the CPU, RAM, GPU, HDD, serial mouse, AT keyboard, even the cooler. The case was not in good shape inside and fell apart a bit too 🙁 What I'm trying to avoid saying is that I binned it 😁
That's why I still have an itch for a Socket 7 build. To be honest I forgot about that build. It'll be good to use that STB Lightspeed 128 PCI, and I have that 1.4GB IBM HDD still too. I can upgrade the 75MHz AMD CPU to 6x86-PR120+ CPU at 100MHz or the Intel 100MHz SY007 CPU I got to test that old board with.
