I tried today nGlide on my Rig (celerond D 2.66Ghz 1 gb ram, and XP sp3 GF6600LE and ). On UT the fps still the same on direct 3d but games like Insane and Deus EX (in the lastest offficial pacth) run slow than direct 3d mode
Is the CPU and/or vga slow to use nglide? I just keep the nglide in default.
The GF6600le is very crap, with 64bit memory interface but at least in Serious Sam and others run bettter than my fx5500.

Retro rig 1: Asus CUV4X, VIA c3 800, Voodoo Banshee (Diamond fusion) and SB32 ct3670.
Retro rig 2: Intel DX2 66, SB16 Ct1740 and Cirrus Logic VLB.

For UT and Deus Ex you should use UTGLR instead of a wrapper.

But when it comes to wrappers I typically use DGVoodoo1 or Zeckensack's Glide Wrapper. Your hardware is more than adequate. The 64-bit bus will hurt for high resolutions like 1600x1200.
