Does anyone have this machine and has a copy of the setup disk? Machine starts up fine but needs a setup disk to configure the bios. The motherboard is made by Tandy. The motherboard was made in 1989 and the part number for the motherboard is 8709972. Attached are some photos. Thanks.

This is a nice system, but is a bit of a mish mash... no bad thing though.
It's funny Tandy was mentioned as the motherboard is from Tandy... also, the floppy drive looks like it was taken from an IBM PS/2. It could be Digital at the time took parts from other OEM's and only did the assembly themselves.
For software... looking up Tandy may yield something useful

I attempted to make a new disk but I keep getting an error when I attempt to boot to do the drive. I'm able to boot with an MS-Dos boot disk but not the utility disk. I thought maybe the drive was bad so I plugged in a different 1.44 drive. One thing that is different about the original 1.44 drive is that there is no power port on the back. It appears that power is run through the ribbon cable and therefore a normal 1.44 drive didn't work. I plugged the original drive back into the ribbon and now the machine won't even seek the drive anymore. Now I'm worried I may have damaged something. I'm not familiar with Tandy computers and their motherboards at all. Do the motherboards normally supply power to the 1.44 drive through the ribbon cable? It could be the drive just went out finally. The drive is a Sony mp-f17w-72.
