I recently picked up an old at/atx case. I'm a bit confused about the power switch since it seems to have two separate power connectors. Can anyone tell me what the purpose is of having two? Which one do I pick? What do I do with the other one? Here's a picture.

If you're using a regular ATX mainboard and PSU, any of them can be used to turn on the system. I've seen this design before in some pentium II tower - it used an ATX form factor case and mainboard, but the PSU was clearly AT, and so was the connector on the mainboard. The power button had two leads like the one in the your picture - one went to the mainboard like on a standard ATX unit, and the other connected to a set of jumpers on the PSU.

I realized I posted this question over a year ago, but it just occurred to me. If there are two leads coming from the same momentary power switch, you could use the same power switch for both power and reset, if your motherboard supports 4-second delay for power off.
