Mobo - microstar MS-5184 ( Via MVP3). 200MMX works 100% stable as 100x3 and even 112x2.5 on it but not this K6-2. It hangs while loading OS even as 100x2.5 regardless of voltage. Max stable FSB is 95mhz, so I had to stop at 95*3.5=333 😒 Is it normal for 66FSB K6-2's? What prevents him from functioning on 100fsb?

It’s a parts bin chip

Early 66mhz fsb k6 variants weren’t tested for FSB,
Later chips that failed testing at 100mhz FSB would get marked 66mhz FSB

What internal defect causes this?
Who knows.

it doesn't support 100mhz FSB, try it at 75 or 83
