Your mate should be very happy. Now you just need a similar PC for a bit of LAN gaminig 😀

One last HW change:
I have replaced the S3 Vision864 PCI VGA card (only 2MB detected in the end) with an S3 Virge 4MB card, just because it looks neater and is slightly newer.
Also PCB design supports no capacitors that could go bad (same with the S3 Vision864 though, but it is a point of concern for me), and outputs seemingly cleaner and sharper image.
