Greetings everyone.

Does anyone have the original CD for the P4VXASD2+? An ISO of the original CD would be amazing! I've scoured the internet, but cant find the flasher proper flasher. And of course, ECS's website doesn't have it. You can download all the other files for this motherboard, but not the flasher. Its a dead link.

Anyone out there have it?

Hi, I wanted to tell you about my unfortunate experience with the BIOS update of an MB ECS.
Before proceeding with the update, create a copy of the one currently present in your MB.
Unfortunately in my case, ECS has two models of the same name but with different SB, on-line there is only one (probably the most common), but having the other SB, I found myself updating the BIOS, with MB not working.

AMD 286-16 287-10 4MB HD 45MB VGA 256KB
AMD 386DX-40 Intel 387 8MB HD 81MB VGA 256KB
Cyrix 486DLC-40 IIT387-40 8MB VGA 512KB
AMD 5X86-133 16MB VGA VLB CL5428 2MB and many others
AMD K62+ 550 SOYO 5EMA+ and many others
AST Pentium Pro 200 MHz L2 256KB

Hmm.. Interesting you say that. The manual says my BIOS is supposed to be an Award, but the chip on the board is clearly an AMI.

The motherboard I have is a P4M890T-M2, but ECS on the site has only one BIOS instead of two.
However, look online to match everything exactly.
MB ECSs often correspond to PCChips (or others), so I don't know if there is a BIOS Award, they often use AMI.
