After seeing that there are successful uses of 1400mhz Durons in the PCChips M812 motherboards from many examples online, I'd also like to learn how they enabled the cache and overclocked it. There are mentions of having done so but no one in those ancient threads from 2001 - 2004 found on Google ever say HOW that is done. i was able to see that it is possible with SOFTWARE after week 39 (and also with software before week 39) but somehow physically before that? That is the reason for this post. The one I've just ordered is a week 33 if I'm reading it correctly.

In case anyone is interested I've elected to go with the M812 because it was a great deal ($23) in the box with all parts, driver disc, and manual. Unique being AT style, and will fit in an older case I've been wanting to use without harming it. It was this or a socket 370 AT and now that I am doing that with an ATX case probably, I'm looking to get the best rig I can from this MB in the AT case.
