The P24D is a 486DX2-66 with write-back L1 cache, the "S" indicates that the chip supports power management features.
I never could understand why intel used the
P24
D
T
ETC moniker for 486 chips

You means that is like a "notebook" version? it was probably chosen because I had to work on a sbc....
how can i manage this power menagement feature?
Why the card use this strange name in the screen initial post instead of a more common "80486DX2" name?

All Intel 486 CPUs after a certain date were produced with energy saving features, for instance I've never found a "non -S" DX4. You can generally configure these options in the BIOS if it supports them.
As for the name, it's just the way the BIOS identifies it, it's probably a name in a mapping table stored in the ROM or something like that.
