Hello ( 2005 laptop CPU upgrade ? )
Can I put a Pentium M780(2.26GHz) CPU in to HP NC4200 12.1" laptop ?

Anyone done it ? (or is M770 the best ?).
Manual says M770(2.13GHz) but it is outdated since M780 came later.
Mobile Intel 915GM Express Chipset.

Wanting to put Windows 10 to it ?
CPU=M770 or M780.
RAM=max. 2x1gb=2gb.

If the BIOS doesn't recognize that CPU then it might boot up at 800MHz. Then you would have to use software to switch the speed to normal.

Does Win10 work on i915? I seem to remember a bit of a scandal about Vista not even being able to run the Aero visuals on i915 because Intel didn't implement the functionality in their drivers.
