Hello.
I have a problem with shuttle hot-419 motherboards. The cache memory (L1 and L2) does not work.
I checked Cachechk and Doom. I have two versions of motherboards VZ and R2.
The problem concerns both motherboards. The L2 cache memory is detected. (message before loading ms-dos)

I changed everything: processors, memory, cache banks, graphic cards.
I suspect the hdd controler un-1082.(I have only one)
Is it possible that it comes into conflict with something?

Some of the SRAM chips could be faulty, it is not that uncommon (you know, 25 y.o. chips and such), that was actually the case in my HOT-419-DZ-R2, I soved that by buying new SRAM chips - see my additions to THIS thread

I have a few sets of cache memory.
These work on another motherboard.
The problem is much deeper. L2 but also L1 processor is not working.
Cachechk gives this message "These machine does not seem to have any cache"
and the result is main memory -10MB / s

Presumably, you set the jumpers on-board correctly and according to manual, right?
Can you tell what chips do you have, what capacity configuration are you attempting to run?
A photography of the SRAM banks and corresponding jumpers would help greatly

Jumpers are set correctly. I even compared those factory-set (pictures on the internet) which does not change.
Sram in configuration
0kb
128kB (32x8) 4+1tag
256kB(32x8) 8+1tag
I checked 15ns and 20ns. I have a lot Sram.

I think it's a HDD controller. This one is on VLB.I bought a hdd controller on ISA.
I will let you know if something has changed when it arrives.

Problem solved.

I was working on re-turbo all the time 😁
TURBO SW on motherboard should be closed!!!
I hope that this information will be useful to someone who will buy hot-419 in future.

Greetings
