Hello! Is there any solution to connect a wireless keyboard and mouse to old school 486 rs232 and AT Keyboard interfaces? I found ps2 wireless devices, but they dont seem to support old rs232 protocoll if I used a simple db9/at to ps2
converter. Tranks for helping!
Background: I want to play games on my 486 from my couch.

You can use a wireless RS-232 bridge, then use any adapters you want for the interface. The majority of these are expensive since they're targeted for industrial use. Of course with wireless, you're adding some latency, so it depends which wireless protocol is used. Stay away from the Bluetooth wireless serial bridges since they are usually the slowest. I've never tried the dirt cheap chinese stuff, but these might be worth a shot: https://www.ebay.com/itm/868MHz-SX1276-Wirele … sYAAOSwE0JY9YN0

I finally found the Logitech Keyboard Cordless Desktop iTouch from 2000/2001. See: https://www.adminxp.com/hardware/index.php?aid=117
I am surprised that it works perfectly with RS-232 to PS/2 adapter and of course AT Keyboard to PS/2 adapter(AT keyboards are PS/2 protoctol compatible).

Thanks
