My shuttle motherboard has a VIA Apollo Pro 133T Chip. That should be able to do agp 4x and that he does also up to and including the 4xx series drivers from Nvidia I go to the 5xxx or higher then it becomes 2x agp.

You are absolutely positive the VIAGART subkey has turbo mode enabled and the NVidia subkey has the forced 4x entry in registry?

The registry key no longer works if you install drivers from NVIDIA from 5xxx or higher
Installed VIA 4-in-1 4.43 driver set on my Shuttle AV18V31 motherboard that has a VIA Apollo Pro 133A northbridge and the other drivers, 4.53, made my nVidia GeForce4 Ti4400 AGP run at 2x instead of 4x. With 4.43, the AGP port is running at 4x now and all of my games are smooth as butter now. The nVidia drivers I am running is 77.72 and reports the card is running on AGP 4x.
