Hi guys, quick question:

I have no experience with voodoo cards, never had one back in the day.
Alekto (yes i give them names) is a 5x86 with a s3 pci card. Would that cpu be to weak for early voodoo games?

greetings

No. The Voodoo2's probably the fastest 3d card they can possibly use due to the relatively light drivers.

Don't expect to run Unreal or anything that drags a FPU down however.

Some benchmarks with Voodoo on a 486:

With such a setup (see here, but hardware changed) I could play 3dfx versions of Tomb Raider, Forsaken, and MK4 just fine, and even GLQuake, though that one was rather sluggish with ~15 fps.
