Latest version on web does not launch on my Cx5x86 Win95C PC. I see it in Task Manager but the window never opens.

That one actually launches, but Win95 locks up as soon as the summary window opens..

Please enable Debug Mode and after the lock up reboot the system and attach the HWiNFO32.DBG file it produced.

Here you go..

EDIT: As a pointer, the CPU is detected correctly as 120MHz, 40MHz with 3x multiplier, but on the line below (Effective) the speed is detected as -2 and multiplier detected as -0,05x or some such. Then it locks up.

Thanks. Will it also lock up when you launch it in Sensors-only mode?

My Toshiba Satellite Pro 430CDT completely froze on app launch. Expected behavior? I’ve got 40gb hdd here.

Here you go. Thanks.

Btw, is there a way to understand if this machine can handle HDD in DMA mode? I don't have such option in Device Manager of Windows...

HWiNFO can tell you what DMA modes the drive supports if it can query the IDE drive. If it doesn't you might need to enable Low-level IO Access for IDE/SATA Drive Scan.
Try to put the following line into the [Settings] section of the HWiNFO32.INI file to skip LPC test and avoid the crash:

LPC1=0

Here are the report files for my older systems:

I would also like to note that HWiNFO 7.12 does not start on Windows 95. There is no error, it just fails to load. Dependency Walker doesn't find any issues with 7.12, either. Version 6.24 runs, so that's what I used to generate the debug files and reports.

Thanks for the reports, the output looks good to me. Would you be able to try some versions between 6.34 and 7.12 to find out which is the latest one working on Win95?

Sorry it took me this long to respond. It looks like 7.16 is good again on Win95. I've included a screenshot highlighting some weirdness in the GUI regarding the FSB on my system (it's supposed to be 75 MHz, meaning the memory should also be reported to run at this freq.) The GUI now also stretches sideways so that you can't properly view it on a 4:3 screen:

Maybe make use of a tabbed interface (CPU/mobo/GPU) here, or make it scrollable?

[Install Win95 like you were born in 1985!] on systems like this or this.

Well, I need to run HWINFO DOS in safe mode command prompt with no mem utilities, but then it tells me that I don’t have memory?

Looks like not enough free system memory, most likely because other drivers and TSRs are running.

You need more RAM. You can download some from the interwebs.

I'd max out all my systems if I could just download more memory 😀

FYI. According to this site GeForce 2go should have 143mhz, https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce2-go.c1554 but hwinfo report wrong value.

Please attach the HWiNFO Debug File so I can analyze the details.
