I got this 486 motherboard, but it's missing the rezistor needed to set the cpu type.
It seems to be a 10 pin single in line rezistor.
Do i need a special model or any 10 pin single in line rezistor will do the job?

It is 4x 0ohm links, every pair of pins is a short.

Ok so if,let's say all of motherboard manufacturers, used this type of 0 ohm resistor, then a 10 pin(5x 0ohm links)resistor should work ok on my motherboard,to set the cpu type?

Yes but good luch finding one.

Here's what I juryrigged for one of my 486 motherboards:

Lowest i can find online is 33ohm ,i guess i'll just have to juryrig something too.

If i take 1 of this https://www.banggood.com/10-Pcs-40-Pin-2_54mm … ur_warehouse=UK

cut it so i have 10 pins then use 5 jumpers on top, will it work?
