In my rush to pick up a 775i65G I didn't notice that an IO shield was not included. Dos anyone know where I can find one? Or have one left over from a dead board that they would spare with in exchange for money? :3

Is that board Rev 3 ? Does not look like rev 1 or 2, must be 3. Sorry I have a rev 1/2 backpanel but no rev 3 and they are not the same (mouse/KB on r1 and 2 are horizontal not vertical).

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

You're totally right! I need a Rev 1 or 2 model, I posted the back of a Rev3. 😮 My board is in the box stored till I build the system proper around December, so I went by online photos, I didn't realise that the R3 has different IO layout. But yeah, I def have an R2.03 and it matches what you seem to have and I'd love see it we can come to an agreement. 😀

Look for 775I65G I/O Shield (Backplate) on ebay. Here you can find a lot of photos.
I also think that the i/o shield of p4i65g or k7vt4a should be compatible with 775I65G.

My first PC had Windows 98 os.

Hello, was finding the IO shield for Asrock P4i65G board, and found out, that it using very atypical IO shield layout, with PS/2 connectors next to each other, not above (as most of the motherboards). It is same layout as this 775i65G board. Searched all my IO shields, and after lots of them, started to observing, that all motherboards IO shields has PS/2 connectors above each other, so I was losing hope.

LUCKILY, among the least, there was one with PS/2 next to each other. It fitted! I've identified according notes, from which motherboard it origines, as I knew, I didnt have Asrock P4i65g IO shield, and it originated from Asrock K7VT4A Pro

So it's enough to search also for this motherboard, and I'm sure, there will be more with this "asrock" layout.

It was good news for me, so maybe this helps someone, to find IO shield. You dont have to focus only on specific motherboard, usually, more of them share layoutfrom same manufacturer.
