Board in question is DH61CR, I know it's not "retro" but was hoping someone could help. The intel site only
shows bios updates in the drivers section, what gives? This is for a win10 install so does it take care of this
automatically?

It's just the normal Infinst my dude. Intel boards always use a file called infinst But also windows 10 should already have built in drivers for H61 chipset you shouldn't need drivers.

Windows 10 have all need drivers for H61 chipset, and "infinst" is not need here. It was actual in WinXP era only.
Drivers for integrated video depends on used CPU. For Sandy Bridge processor there are no official Win10 drivers at all, but Win7/8 drivers should work too. If it is Ivy Bridge, it have correct drivers for Windows 10. https://www.intel.co.uk/content/www/uk/en/sup … cs-drivers.html
I don't know about Intel 82579V LAN and Realtek ALC892 sound here, but probably they drivers are built into Win10 or can be easily installed by hand.

Thanks, this is actually my first win10 install so learning as I go. Will be using GPU so not worried about graphics drivers.

Another question if you will: The manual states regarding the memory that it uses 4gb technology, 16gb max. Seems like
an "oxymoron" so I can't use 8gb modules?
