I have installed Windows 95 osr2 and dos. Firstly I had them installed in one partition but now I have two partitions where I have 6.22 dos installed in the one and Windows 95 on the other. I want to fornat and start over because I have downloaded the drivers from Phil's lab site for the sound blaster vibra 16s (it is the ct2502 model) for dos (sbbasic.exe and ctcmbbs.exe) but a msg comes on screen that I have to install the drivers via pure dos and not via Windows 95 dos even i boot from dos. Also I tested one game (maybe cannon fodder) and it shows that I have 7.10 installed.

Hello all and merry Christmas.

Recently I ordered a new "Dallas" type chip including coin battery in otder to replace the old one. I hope to be delivered soon to me. Yesterday evening i checked the old one which i pulled it and came out of the socket. So i guess it's doesn't need soldering etc. ? Below are the photos:

It is nice to see you are still mucking around with that system. Merry Xmas and all the best for 2021.

Problem solved. I ordered the following battery in 23/12/2021 and it came yesterday.

It works. The old one was just in the socket. Fortunately no need of disoldering and soldering. I formatted the hard drive, i made it Fat32 (before was Fat16), so i erased Windows 98 and i installed Windows 95 which run lot lot faster. Drivers of S3 Virge and Sound Blaster Vibra 16 installed and now i am almost ready to install games
