Hey all

I installed the Rhapsody DR2 on a old thinclient and got it to boot fine. However I have no display driver. I am using the SCGA generic one included which gives me 800x600 in black and white. I'd like to get to 1024x768 with at least 16 colors.

The wyse winterm wt9455xl thin client I use has this:
Integrated Trident Blade 3D
1024 x 768 @ 32-bit colour

I assume there is no actual driver for this but is there a better generic one?

Thanks

Which operating system? There is a Win9x driver here http://vogonsdrivers.com/index.php?catid=37.

The Apple Rhapsody RD2 OS at WinWorldPC.

I can try that Win9x driver but I have my fears..

Rhapsody DR2 has very few GPU drivers available for the x86 release (it was a developer release after all). Here's a list of all GPU drivers available in the build:

If you really want to mess around with Rhapsody builds then you best bet is to either:

A) Get a supported older Macintosh model (This page has great guides for PPC and x86 http://www.rhapsodyos.org/)
B) Build a custom PC with one of the GPU's listed, or
C) Say screw authenticity and create a VMWare VM (using this guide http://www.smallersystems.com/blog/2007/06/rhapsody-dr2/)

Right, I thought it was a monitor of some kind and forgotten that it was the codename for what became Mac OS X. That Wyse thin client does have a PCI slot so you could try one of the SVGA adapters above, assuming you can configure the BIOS to initialise the adapter in the PCI slot first (instead of the on-board Trident).
