Hello
This list says Jazz Jackrabbit 1 has a scrolling problem with Millenium 1.
https://gona.mactar.hu/DOS_TESTS/
I have 2064W-R3 Millenium 1, 4MB and it works perfectly. Tried also every dos game I know and all work well.
This chart makes Matrox look really bad with red colors and I don't understand it.
Matrox plays games well. Don't know if it is that R3 that makes the difference ?

I think Millenium 1, 4MB(1996) is a lot better than my so praised S3Trio64V+ 1-2MB(1996).
I was able to use higher 32bit windows 98se color setting and all.

Even Sega Rally 1, 1997 played excellently with lower 320x resolution. (Tilting little with higher 640x.)
-200 mhz pentium 1 processor.

Noticed that too when I build a system with a Matrox Mystique. They say it can't handle the scrolling in Commander Keen, but there's an option in the game that fixes that, so it's a non-existing issue. There's nothing wrong with Matrox cards, some people just seem to hate them.

I also love that matrox cards. Could you please check the bios version of the card?
There were updates/fixes that you can install on these cards to solve some issues with dos-programs. (bios updates)

I have this card and it has at least one bug with the Build engine. Visplanes (ceiling, floors) are bugged on high resolution (1280x1024, 1600x1200).

I think Millenium 1, 4MB(1996) is a lot better than my so praised S3Trio64V+ 1-2MB(1996).

It's more appopriate to compare it with S3 Trio64V2/DX with 4Mb.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.
