Hi guys
I hope this Socket 775 motherboard is retro enough for here

I have a Gigabyte GA-N650SLI-DS4 and it boots up but I am getting no output from any graphics card in either of the PCIe slots

According to the manual it needs a SLI Switch module that would have come with the motherboard but it is missing - and if it is missing this disables both PCIe x16 slots.

The picture of the SLI Switch card in the user manual says GC-SLISW-C55 and also C55 ONLY on it
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-N650S … #support-manual

I can find used ones on ebay and they look the same or very similar

But they dont' say C55 on them

Does anyone know if they are actually the same, or if the ones on ebay can be adapted to work on my motherboard?

Cheers
Rich

Sorry cannot find one with C55 but that ebay one might work in Normal mode, it is the dual mode that probably will not work as the wiring alters the PCIe lanes. Have a Asus P5N-SLI with one of those stupid SLI switch cards ;p

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
