Looking for some help here. Looking for a bios update file, am at P11 and want to upgrade. Also tried a Radeon 9800 pro AGP card with this board and that was a no go - 2 short beeps followed by one long one. Any advice would be much appreciated. Board works fine with a PCI Voodoo 3 2000. Thanks.
Since intel no longer hosts the files for older products, I googled a bit around. Found the files in this FTP server: ftp://ftp.spez.kharkov.ua/pub/driver/mb/intel/se440bx2/
The 440BX chipset is a 3.3v 2X AGP capable only. Your Radeon 9800 pro is a 1.5v AGP4x/8x card and will not work in it. edit: there are SOME 9800 Pro that will work at 3v 2X, the ones made by Sapphire.
