Hello,

Does anyone have this board either working with this multiplier/voltage combination or a newer manual revision for it?
The manual that I have lists the 2.1V setting as being the lowest and 3X multiplier as being the highest. However, I've seen on 20 year old forum threads that higher multipliers/lower voltages are indeed possible.
I have another SS7 board (Azza PT-5VMD), and that one has a very comprehensive manual, listing voltages down to 1.6V and up to 6x multipliers.
In case you are wondering, I want to run an AMD K6-2+ 550MHz CPU on the DFI P5BV3+ board. This CPU runs at 2.0V (however I tested and it can run as high as 2.2V). But I would prefer to keep it on 2.0V, to keep the heat levels down.

Thanks,
Andy

Update: Found this one (for Rev. C) and I compared the settings and they seem very similar: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/816826/Dfi- … ?page=15#manual
I will try and play with it as soon as I have some time.

Update2: Indeed, the settings from the manual listed above worked perfectly. I managed to set the multiplier to 5.5, but eventually settled for 2.0 (which is interpreted as 6.0 by K6-2/3 CPUs).
Fun fact: even though I have a "P5BV3+ rev. A1" motherboard (as written on the PCB), it seems that it's actually a rev B board (the rev A BIOS update was not working, failing with the usual "part number mismatch error"). So I then decided to try the BIOS updates for rev B and rev C. And sure enough, rev B worked: The final official BIOS update that supports K6-2+ CPUs is: BV3PB0103.ZIP (P5BB0103.BIN) and can be downloaded from here: https://drivers.eu/Mainboards/DFI/P5BV3%2B
After running many tests I can confirm that the K6-2+ is rock stable at 600 MHz on this board (passed memtest, Prime95, Aida64 Stress tests and all 3DMark & game benchmarks).
