Hi,

I've tested one of my 486 boards... at first there was no life in it... but after doing many jumper swaps it POSTs but only to show a keyboard not present error. It has CR2032 battery so there is no corrosion near keyboard connector. Also leds on the keyboard light up on power on and when I press any key when counting memory it makes a few really fasts beeps.

As the keyboard controller is socketed I was thinking of swapping it with a know good one. But I don't have any socketed from Megatrend. I do have one from Jetkey.

Are these two compatible?
