Hi,

I've this ECS P6Bx-A+ V1.2 Slot 1 board that officially with a v5.6 beta bios support up to the 600Mhz Katmai P3. In the bios there's the option to go up to 800Mhz, but any Coppermine slot1 cpu I tried doesn't boot. The fastest I get to boot is the above 600Mhz Katmai. If I use a Socket370 adapter may I try newer cpu on this mobo?
