I've this mobo (with the original box incredible) and was thinking to build a pc with it but I've read that these boards had problems with patches for the K6-2+ cpus and also working up to the rev 1.03 version. Do anyone knows more about it or I only can go up to a usual K6-2 (and what about the original K6-3)?
I've both a K6-2 550, K6-2+ 550, K6-3 400 to try.

K6+ will work up to rev 1.04.
Starting from rev 1.05 the K6+ won't work anymore.

K6+es work fine on 1.05/1.06 with a really simple resistor mod. But a 1.04 will run them with no mods.
Be aware the 1.04 has a limit of 128MB cacheable RAM, but this is negated if you use a K6+ or K6-3 (which can cache 4GB.)

Thanks, I've found the latest bios (official-beta) that should support it (I was expecting a patched bios not official) and need to find a PS2 keyboard I don't have anymore to boot it and flash it.
I have a p5a 1.06 and it seems to work fine with non plus cpus but soon as I pop in a 2+ it refuses to post. I’ve done the mod but no luck.
Any thoughts?
I think I recall someone saying they needed to raise the I/O voltage? Idk,

Nvm, it works now, not sure what was up with it… only thing I really did was plug a fan into cpu fan plug and plug a diag card in. 🤷♂️
No idea.
I guess of someone encounters the same problem keep trying
