Hey guys! New to the forums but I'm hoping you guys can help me.

I acquired this seemingly generic i386 laptop a while ago, and the only issue it seems to have is the keyboard. When I use an external keyboard the error goes away. If i unplug the internal one, same issue. Any ideas? I had a hard time finding any information to help me here

Thank you in advance!!

On those "slide in" ribbon cables, gentle remove one at a time and clean the edge contacts with Iso alcohol on a paper towel. Make sure you mark one side of cable and connector before removing so you get it back in the proper way.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
