Does someone know what are the jumper settings for Octek VL-VGA-1000 rev. B? I've recently bought the card and have no idea what any of the jumpers do. There are JP1, JP2 and JP3 jumpers - one of them for waitstates and one for setting IRQ9, I assume, but I don't know which position does what. Any help would be much appreciated.

I think there are a couple of revisions of this card. I remember downloading the PDF manual from the Australian Octek FTP site...I'll check to see if I still have it.

As this is revision B, I assume it's second revision, out of three. It would be nice if you could share the PDF file as I have toruble finding it, even on archive.org.

EDIT: I found an old manifest of files from Australian Octek FTP but the links don't work, the AU FTP seems to be shut down. The requested file is "VL_VGA_1000_MANUAL.ZIP".

EDIT2: After some more research my guess is this:

JP1
1-2: 0WS
2-3: 1WS

JP2 (non Octek cards have this jumper probably hardwired to 2048kB setting)
1-2: 1024kB VRAM
2-3: 2048kB VRAM

JP3
1-2: IRQ9 disabled
2-3: IRQ9 enabled

Still, it would be nice to confirm this somehow.

Your guess is probably right. I believe the files are on my office PC. I should be going there later today.
The manual isn't terribly interesting from what I remember.
I think I might have downloaded more than just the manual for this card too. I believe I downloaded all of their files for anything pre-pentium.

I hope that someone backed up the entirety of the FTP site before it got shut down. If not it would be cool to try and reconstruct it based on the manifest I've posted earlier. At least partially, some files could be lost for good. It's just shame that there are companies that get rid of the old files without uploading them somewhere else.

A little update on the subject - I have dumped the bios from the chip. I'm attaching it here, might get useful for someone.
