I was a bonehead and messed up my current super IO card by trying to solder on the other IDE header. It's totally fubared, I'm not interested in attempting to fix it.

Since I have to get a new super IO card anyway, are there any VLB ones confirmed working at 40MHz 0WS alongside a video card? If it matters, it's a TGUI9440AGi with 2MB VRAM. It's got a fast refresh jumper for 40MHz operation so I'm not worried about it. I'm also upgrading to a Am5x86-based upgrade kit and swapping the 33MHz crystal on the board for a 40MHz one so I can run it at 4x40=160MHz.

If it matters, I'm currently looking at a DC-2000VL-2C that has a Winbond W83758P, W83757AF, and Promise PDC20230C. Motherboard is a GA-486VM, I hear that's one of the better ones?

I can't give you a model number, but I can confirm that such cards exist, as I had a 40MHz VLB system with Super IO VLB and Trident 9400Cxi back in the day that was quite stable
