I want to take a stab at making my own ISA card. Just a simple diag card.

Anyone else done this before?

I thought it would be easy to find an ISA template for altium or easyeda or something, but I'm not having much luck.

i didn't design one myself, but I home-manufactured working adlib clone using schematics from first website

My edge connector is attached to this post. The footprint for the actual contact fingers was included with kicad, but the keep out zones and edge cuts are my original contributions. This will prevent auto routers from trying to place traces or vias on the edge connector as well as properly pulling back the soldermask off the edge. It's designed to accommodate proper beveling and hard gold plating if desired, to facilitate a truly professional design. If you use it in a product, I ask only to be credited.

Of course!

How do you want to be credited?

I once had the idea to design an ISA POST analysis card, but later decided to use my time on other things for now 😀 I do have a bunch of notes though. These two sites have similar projects:

http://bbright.tripod.com/information/postcard.htm

There also is a design in a 1995 issue of Elektuur/Elektor magazine (I have scans of the Dutch issue, but I know it's also available in English). It uses a GALs and I have not been able to find the code for those unfortunately. Wikipedia uses a picture of that card: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/POST_card#/medi … S_POST_card.jpg
