Is there a way to find out what exactly does the Turbo button change on my 386 and 486 motherboards? I can see that performance changes, but am curios to know how it was achieved. Lower clock, disabling of caches, waitstates, etc. Also, I would like to set the case mhz display to the correct setting, but don't know what it is when turbo is switched. Is there perhaps a utility that can directly or indirectly detect the changes.
The 386 motherboard is: EliteGroup Computer Systems UM 386
The 486 motherboard is: FIC 486-GIO-VT
Thank you,
Pavel
