I've got an issue with CD audio cutting in and out in DOS Quake. I've verified the audio sounds fine from the front headphone jack on the CDROM and I've tried a two CDROM units and two audio cables. Unfortunately I don't have another sound card to test with just yet but I'm using an AWE64 Gold which seems to be working but does have low volume. Would anyone have any ideas next troubleshooting steps, should I get ahold of another ISA sound card?
