I took down the files because people would sell the prints without asking for permission or even giving any credit.

I'm sorry, but I can't write a private message. I am new here. But I understand your situation. I only wanted to have one printed for myself. Never mind, thank you anyway 😉

Ah, I didn't realized. I PM-ed you...

Hello. Thank you very much for the post. My card will arrive today. It is in very bad condition, but if I fix it, I will print the bracket and send the result. Thanks again 😉

Could files like that be uploaded here on vogons, thus being exclusive to users here?

Please use the "quote" option if asking questions to what I write - it will really up the chances of me noticing 😀

Lots of things 3d printers are good for but for bracket replacement I want metal. The made with pcb ones don't work either, metal or nothing, I'd rather get the tooling to fab the metal parts. Just like I'd want original stenciling on pcbs not off named labeling to avoid copyright, copyright be damned, if I'm making a replica for myself, I'm making a replica.

FWIW, JLCPCB can do metal 3D printing, maybe PCBWay as well. I did price out a similar bracket in metal, JLC's online tool gave me an estimate of $8.
No idea what the finish/quality'd be like, given I haven't actually ordered it.

Never worked with metal 3D prints, but would instinctively think their mechanical properties are similar to those of cast metal. Guessing it's a far from ideal replacement for rolled steel in an expansion card bracket, it's probably too brittle.

I'd rather get a bracket laser/water cut from sheet metal. If the bending of the end and screw hole tabs - an additional manufacturing step - affects the final cost more than marginally, it's easy enough to do yourself.
