I’ve recently purchased and imported from the states to the UK 2 genius e3000 II pocket Ethernet devices that connect to the parallel port of old machines.

I have found some drivers but they are only for windows for workgroup and win95 / 98 just refuses to run with them. I get a message on startup that it’s not connected to the parallel port.
See attached pic.

I’ve found reference online to a driver file for windows 95/98 but can’t seem to find it for download.

It’s detailed on driverfiles.com but all the reviews of that site say avoid. So I’m wary to use it.

https://www.helpdrivers.com/networks/Genius/E3000II/

File name is e30ii041.exe

I’m trying another parallel port network card drivers and hoping it may progress. That I found here for a similar device that on paper had the same functionality even just getting a diagnosis utility may help.

If anyone on here has this network device and or drivers or advice I’d be happy to learn about it.

I’ve also mailed genius kye to see if they have it archived.

I’m attempting to use it with a dock for both toshiba librettos and an ibm pc110 the power on with an indicator light but I can’t seem to turn it on to get any response out of the network activity light

Manual of the device is here :
http://minuszerodegrees.net/manuals/Gen ... 20V1.0.pdf

Also outside of the box showing irq values I found today here, helpful as it’s not in the above manual!

So any help would be appreciated as I’m currently stuck!

Thanks in advance and happy to answer questions if anyone can help me progress. I can also share the files I have located if anyone wants to look?

Thanks everyone

Mike

Sorry a few mistakes and typos in my post about the driverfiles site but beyond, I thought I’d caught them during preview. That’s what you get for using an iPhone on here...

Typically after some more searching i hit upon a russian website and i only went and found it!

For those interested i located it here by adapting my search to look for the version rather than the file executable name

https://driver.ru

Anyway I think I have what I need now to progress

Apologies for the unnecessary post but hopefully this may help others for old drivers..
