So I recently picked up a nice condition IBM 325T with the 386SLC processor. I installed a cd rom drive, 5.25” floppy, and upgraded the hard drive and dropped in an awe32. It was working beautifully. I just received a 387SX math coprocessor I ordered and installed it. It booted up fine and I went straight to the BIOS to check it - it detected the math coprocessor without issue, but then my keyboard stopped responding. So I rebooted and got keyboard and mouse errors at post, tried different keyboards and mice same thing, removed the co-processor - no change, tried unplugging for a while and even removing the battery - no change. Everything looks fine on the motherboard. Could the co-processor have fried something? This is so disappointing.

I believe the issue is not directly connected to the coprocessor.
What voltages are you getting on the keyboard and mouse ports? If they're good retry with the devices plugged in. You may have to measure directly on the pcb/solder points with the board removed from the case.
