I have an old Presario 2510 back from when I was a kid that I'm thinking about getting running. However, I don't trust the PSU not to fail catastrophically (assuming it even still works). It's a Mitac MPU-75RFP, which is a 75W power supply. I know you can use a modern ATX supply with an adapter to get these old boards running, but the issue I'm running into is size. I don't know if this supply was developed specifically for Compaq as a proprietary thing or if it's some standard I'm just not familiar with. It's 7" x 4.375" x 3.375" length by width by height. If anyone has any suggestions on a PSU that would fit as a replacement (specific model or general form factor), I'd greatly appreciate it. In the images, only the right two screws are actually holding the PSU in place - the bottom left one doesn't make contact.

Alternatively, am I being too paranoid - is this something I really even need to worry about?
