Hello I have this motherboard https://stason.org/TULARC/pc/motherboards/E/E … 86-UM-486V.html

It has a 486 DX2 66 Intel CPU

I put the ram 30 pins Simms (8 chip) 16mb (4mb each) which was working good in 386.

I power it on and it makes 3 beeps, long pause and then 3 beeps.

Please help ? Is the ram not compatible ?

In which bank did you put the sticks in ?

Can you shoot a nice photo (no cables in the way and not blurry) of your motherboard so I can add it here ? 😀 http://www.win3x.org/uh19/motherboard/show/2125

Try booting it with a known working 4MB memory set in Bank 0 (w/1MB per stick). From what I can see, the board does not have dedicated jumper settings for DRAM config.

Also, make sure the modules are properly clipped in each socket.
