I'm having trouble getting my Ensoniq Soundscape Opus card to be recognized in an old 486 motherboard using ancient Phoenix BIOS (see thread Upgrading an old Phoenix BIOS). IRQ settings according to msd:

3: com2/4
4: com1/3
5: lpt2 (not detected)
7: lpt1 (not detected)

What is bizarre is that I've disabled com1 (IRQ4) and LPT1 and 2 in the bios, but MSD still shows them as assigned (though not in use). I cannot get ensoniq setup to recognize the card. Any ideas?
