Hello!.
Some weeks ago i've acquired an HP Vectra XU 6/200 (Dual Pentium Pro). Nearly complete & working, only missing a front bezel.
With original Matrox Card, and integrated SB16 (opl3). And a nice loud speaker with volume control!.

It comes with only 1 Ppro 200 mhz (and, only 1 VRM). I've got another 2 PPro's CPUs matching batch code, but my problem is the VRM...

After searching in google a lot of time for part number, and mailing like +10 old hardware providers, only 1 answered...($999.00!. NO way!)...

I've found this at EBAY for $25 to $50. (Seems to be for P2 klamath)

And this one, it's the VRM running on the HP Vectra: (PN 5063-8794, not printed on VRM, HP manual)

At first look it's nearly identical, it even got the "circle" marked on the circuit board for the missing capacitor
Maybe with minor modifications i can mod that klamath VRM...?

What do you think?.
Thanks.

PD: They look so good 😀

I assume the one that came with your computer is a 0950-3066?

Is this too much voodoo?
