Removing Heat Sink - GeForce 4 TI4400

Trying to remove heat sink from PNY GeForce4 Ti4400 AGP card. I have all the screws out, the fan and screws are out, and the plastic spring loaded holders are out but the metal heat sink itself is still solidly on the card. How do I get it off without damaging the processor underneath?

Either put it in the freezer for about 1 hour, or use a hairdryer on the heatsink until you can barely touch it, then twist.

I prefer the heat method as I've had more success using it, and after the freezer you'll need to dry the card anyway because of the condensation. In any case, be very careful not to snap surface mount components when the heatsink releases.
