Hey guys I have have gotten a parts haul from my local PC shop, one of his customers dropped off a old gaming rig that was loaded with some good stuff. Had the Audigy 2 with head unit, MSI GF 6600 256mb AGP card, 2 pristine IDE drives, the first of it's kind Ultra modular power supply all on the ECS 755-A2 socket 754 board with a Athlon 64 3000+.
You know what I am trying to do, yep Windows 98, it's compatible but the IDE is dual mode and 98 don't like that. I tried downloading the SiS IDE driver from Phil's website, it installed but no change, still not happy.
So I am wondering if the original CD had a dual mode driver for windows 98.
So i'm hoping that someone here might just have the driver disk and can hook me up with a ISO copy.
Or if anyone knows a way around the dual mode issue with the SiS 5513 IDE controller to get both ports functioning properly I am all ears.
